4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons lemon juice
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions
- Prepare the chicken breasts by seasoning them with salt and pepper on both sides.
- In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
- Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté the garlic for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
- Add the green beans to the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are crisp-tender.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and pour the lemon juice over the chicken and green beans.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
- Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
This recipe can be easily customized by adding lemon zest for extra flavor or red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
Frozen green beans can be used as a substitute for fresh ones, just make sure to thaw them before cooking.
Serve with mashed potatoes or rice for a complete meal.
