Death by Chocolate Cake
Ingredients:

Cake
4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup brown sugar
2 cups white sugar
3 teaspoons baking soda
3 teaspoons baking powder
2 ¼ cups cocoa powder
Pinch salt
6 eggs, beaten
1 ½ cups butter, melted
2 ½ cups buttermilk
2 ½ cups black coffee
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Frosting
7 ½ cups powdered sugar
3 cups butter, softened
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 ¼ cups cocoa powder
Pinch salt
¾ cup heavy cream
3 cups chocolate chips
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
Cover your cake pans with parchment paper and spray with oil.
Mix the all-purpose flour, brown sugar, baking soda, white sugar, baking powder, cocoa powder and salt in a bowl.
In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, melted butter, buttermilk, black coffee and vanilla extract.
Add the wet mixture to the dry mixture.
Mix until smooth.
Pour the cake batter into the cake pans.
Bake in the oven for 35 minutes.
Let cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes.
Make the frosting by beating together with a hand mixer the powdered sugar, butter, vanilla extract, cocoa powder
and salt.
Stir in the heavy cream.
Mix until you see stiff peaks forming.
Frost the cake and sprinkle with the chocolate chips.
