Chocolate Pudding Cake – You’ll love every bite of this rich moist chocolate cake laced with silky chocolate sauce. Top it with vanilla ice
cream to complete the dessert.

Chocolate Pudding Cake

Chocolate Pudding CakeSAVE THIS!

Ingredients:
Butter for greasing
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 ¼ cups brown sugar, divided
1 cup chocolate chips
2 tablespoons butter
2 oz. chocolate (unsweetened)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups buttermilk
½ cup cocoa powder
2 ½ cups hot water
Topping
Vanilla ice cream
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
Grease your baking pan with butter.
In a bowl, combine the baking soda, all-purpose flour, salt, baking powder, and 1 cup brown sugar.
Mix well.
Stir in the chocolate chips.
Add the butter to a pan over medium low heat.
Cook while stirring until melted.
Turn off heat.
Pour in the vanilla extract.
Add the mixture to the flour mixture and mix well.
Pour the cake batter into the baking pan.
In another pan over low heat, heat the buttermilk until warmed.
Turn off heat.
Add the remaining brown sugar and ½ cup cocoa powder to the buttermilk.
Spread a layer of this mixture on top of the cake batter.
Pour the hot water on top of the cake.
Bake in the oven for 30 minutes.
Let cool on a wire rack.
Top with the vanilla ice cream and serve.
