Chocolate & Pretzel Cake Recipe
Butter for greasing
16 oz. dark chocolate, chopped
½ cup butter
4 eggs, separated
¼ cup white sugar
1 cup miniature pretzels
Preheat your oven to 325 degrees F.
Add the dark chocolate and butter to a pan over medium heat.
Cook while stirring until melted.
Turn off heat and set aside.
Add the egg whites to a bowl.
Using an electric mixer, beat until you see stiff peaks forming.
Stir in the sugar and beat for 5 more minutes.
Add the salt and egg yolks to the chocolate mixture.
Gradually add the egg white mixture to the chocolate mixture.
Pour into a baking pan.
Top with the mini pretzels.
Bake in the oven for 30 minutes.
Let cool for another 30 minutes.
Refrigerate for 3 hours before serving.
