Quick Cocoa Cake

Ingredients:
Butter for greasing
Flour for dusting
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/3 cups water
¾ teaspoon salt
¾ cup cocoa powder
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 ¼ teaspoons baking soda
2 eggs
¾ cup butter, softened
1 ¾ cups brown sugar
Confectioners’ sugar, for sprinkle
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
Grease the cake pan with butter and dust it with flour.
Combine the baking soda, cocoa powder, all-purpose flour, and salt in a bowl.
Using an electric mixer and beat the brown sugar and butter until light and smooth.
Stir in the eggs and vanilla extract.
Add the flour mixture and water to the egg mixture.
Mix until fully combined.
Pour the cake batter into baking pan.
Bake in the oven for 1 hour.
Let cool on a wire rack for another 1 hour.
Sprinkle with the confectioners’ sugar on top.
