Sour Cream Chocolate Cake
Ingredients:
Butter for greasing
Flour for dusting
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 eggs, beaten
¾ cup cocoa powder
1 ¾ cups sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup sour cream
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
¾ cup canola oil
1 cup strong coffee
1 ½ cups chocolate frosting
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 300 degrees F.
Grease your cake pan with butter and dust it with flour.
Whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, sugar and salt in a bowl.
Add the beaten eggs, sour cream, vanilla extract and canola oil to another bowl and mix well.
Gradually add the egg mixture into the flour mixture.
Pour in the coffee and stir.
Pour the cake batter into the cake pan.
Bake in the oven for 50 minutes.
Let cool on a wire rack for 30 minutes.
Spread the frosting on top of the cake and serve.
