  • 500g (3 ½ cups) all-purpose flour
  • 11g (2 tsp.) active dry yeast
  • 100g soft butter (cut into cubes)
  • 70g (1/3 cup) sugar
  • 160ml (2/3 cup) lukewarm milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • For the filling: 500ml (2 cups) very cold whipping cream
  • Powdered sugar
  • Vanilla instant pudding powder

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine lukewarm milk and yeast; let sit until foamy.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and vanilla extract. Add butter and eggs.
  3. Pour in the yeast mixture and knead until smooth.
  4. Let rise in a greased bowl covered with a damp cloth for about 1 hour.
  5. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Shape risen dough into rolls on a lined baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden; cool completely.
  7. Whip cold cream with powdered sugar and pudding powder until stiff peaks form.
  8. Slice rolls horizontally and fill generously with whipped cream.
