  • 250g Dark chocolate
  • 200g Milk chocolate
  • 200g Butter or baking spread
  • 150g Golden syrup
  • 100g Malted milk or digestive biscuits (broken up)
  • 75g Mini marshmallows (gelatine-free if vegetarian)
  • 200g Maltesers
  • Optional: 75g Malteser Teasers or Buttons and 35g additional Maltesers

Instructions

  1. Line an 8" square tin with baking paper.
  2. In a saucepan, melt together butter, golden syrup, dark chocolate, and milk chocolate on low heat until smooth. Cool for 10 minutes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine broken biscuits, mini marshmallows, and Maltesers.
  4. Pour two-thirds of the melted chocolate into the bowl and stir to coat well.
  5. Transfer the mixture to the lined tin and smooth down evenly. Pour remaining chocolate on top and tap to remove air bubbles.
  6. Top with additional Maltesers and chill in the fridge for 3-4 hours or overnight until firm.
  7. Slice into pieces and enjoy!
