  • 1 cup warm water (about 110°F)
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil to the yeast mixture; stir until dough forms. Knead for 5–7 minutes until smooth.
  3. Cover the dough with a towel and let it rise in a warm spot for about 45–60 minutes or until doubled in size.
  4. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle (9×13 inches) and transfer to the baking sheet.
  6. Brush melted butter over the dough and sprinkle with minced garlic and Italian seasoning. Top with mozzarella cheese.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and edges are golden brown.
  8. Serve warm, sliced into sticks.
