[the_ad id="4667"]Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts or thighs
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- ¼ cup Dijon mustard
- ¼ cup honey
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Fresh thyme leaves, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Prepare the Chicken: Rinse the chicken and pat dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
Make the Marinade: In a bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, honey, minced garlic, and olive oil until smooth.
Marinate the Chicken: Coat the chicken in the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Bake the Chicken: Place the marinated chicken in a baking dish, letting any excess marinade drip off. Brush extra honey Dijon sauce over the top.
Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until chicken is golden and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F/74°C).
Garnish and Serve: Top with fresh thyme (optional) and serve hot with rice, vegetables, or a salad.
Notes
For a milder flavor (kid-friendly), reduce the amount of Dijon mustard.
You can use chicken drumsticks or other cuts—adjust the baking time as needed.
If the chicken starts browning too quickly, cover loosely with aluminum foil.
