This classic chicken noodle soup is hearty, comforting, and full of tender chicken, soft egg noodles, and a flavorful broth. Perfect to warm you up and soothe sniffles!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 2 celery stalks, sliced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

1. Place the chicken, broth, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, thyme, and parsley into the Crockpot.

2. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.

3. Shred the chicken with two forks and add egg noodles.

4. Cook for another 20-30 minutes on high.

5. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

You can substitute gluten-free noodles to make this gluten-free.

Use low sodium broth to reduce salt content.
