  • 20 ounces frozen diced hash browns

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray a 9 x 13 inch casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Cook Italian sausage in a frying pan over medium heat until browned. Add chopped onions and sauté until translucent.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cooked sausage, sautéed onions, eggs, milk, hash browns, salt, and pepper; mix well.
  4. Pour mixture into the prepared dish and reserve one cup of cheddar cheese for topping.
