  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup crushed vanilla wafers (for topping)
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C) and grease a springform pan.
  2. Mix crushed vanilla wafers, sugar, and melted butter to form the crust. Press into the pan.
  3. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth; add bananas, eggs, vanilla extract, sour cream, and flour until well combined.
  4. Pour filling over the crust evenly and prepare topping by combining additional crushed wafers, pecans, and melted butter; sprinkle on top.
  5. Bake for 55–60 minutes until edges are set. Cool gradually in the oven with the door ajar for one hour.
  6. Refrigerate for at least four hours or overnight before serving.
