Bacon and Egg Grilled Cheese Sandwiches – a crispy, golden grilled sandwich stuffed with scrambled eggs, bacon, and melty cheddar cheese. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a quick comfort meal.

Ingredients

4 slices bacon, cooked

1 teaspoon oil

4 eggs, beaten

Salt and pepper, to taste

4 thin slices of cheddar cheese (or two thick slices)

4 slices bread

2 teaspoons butter, softened

Instructions

1. Heat oil in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add the eggs and stir gently until scrambled. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat.

3. Butter one side of each bread slice.

4. On the unbuttered side of two slices, layer cheese, bacon, and half of the scrambled eggs.

5. Top with the other slices of bread, butter side up.

6. Place sandwiches in the preheated skillet and cook 3–4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cheese is melted.

Notes

Try using different cheeses like mozzarella or gouda for variation.

You can add sautéed onions or spinach for extra flavor.

This sandwich is best served hot right off the skillet.
