Air Fryer Bang Bang Salmon Bites are seasoned pieces of salmon coated in homemade bang bang sauce, cooked to perfection in the air fryer, and drizzled with more sauce. Quick, spicy, and irresistibly delicious!

Ingredients

Scale

For the Salmon:

  • 1 ½ pounds salmon (about 4 filets), skins removed and cut into 1-inch bites
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

For the Bang Bang Sauce:

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Sriracha (or more to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons honey

For Garnish:

  • Chopped chives

Instructions

1. Preheat the air fryer to 390°F.

2. In a large bowl, combine olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

3. Add the salmon bites to the bowl and toss gently to coat evenly.

4. In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Thai sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, and honey to create the Bang Bang sauce.

5. Divide the sauce into two bowls: one for tossing the raw salmon, one for drizzling after cooking.

6. Toss the seasoned salmon in half of the Bang Bang sauce.

7. Place the salmon bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Work in batches to avoid overcrowding.

8. Air fry for 4–5 minutes. Flip, and cook another 4–5 minutes or until the salmon reaches 140–145°F internally.

9. Transfer to a plate and drizzle with the reserved sauce. Garnish with chives and serve.

Notes

• You can bake the salmon bites instead of air frying. Preheat oven to 400°F, bake for 16 minutes (flip halfway), then toss in the Bang Bang sauce.

• Do not add the sauce before baking—it can burn.

• Adjust Sriracha amount for more or less spice.

• Serve with rice, lettuce wraps, or over noodles.
